Our Hotel and Cancellation Policy

Arrival/Departure

You can use your family room/apartment from 3 pm on the day of your arrival to 12 pm on the day of your departure.

Cancellation conditions to make your vacation planable risk-free:

The Austrian hotel contract conditions (AGBH 2006) apply, with the exception of the points modified in this list:
In order to plan your vacation risk-free, you can cancel your booking free of charge up to 15 days before arrival!

• up to 15 days before the agreed arrival date – free cancellation
• from 14 to 8 days before the day of arrival - 70% of the total arrangement price
• from 7 days to the day of arrival - 90% of the total arrangement price

The cancellation rules mentioned above also apply:

• In the event of no-show, late arrival or early departure
• If the originally booked appointment is postponed to a later date
• If the room occupancy changes (fewer guests arrive than originally booked)

Travel/cancellation insurance

We know from experience that children often fall ill unexpectedly. We therefore recommend that you take out insurance with European Travel Insurance to protect yourself from unnecessary cancellation costs. You can take out cancellation insurance directly via this link. Payment is possible directly by credit card.

Subsequent conclusion of insurance

If the insurance is NOT taken out at the same time as the travel booking, the insurance cover for travel cancellation benefits only begins on the 10th day after the insurance was taken out. There is NO insurance cover during this 10-day period (except in the event of an accident, death or natural disaster)!

Our general terms and conditions

In addition to the limitations of liability in § 11 and 12 of our General Terms and Conditions, the following applies to the use of play and sports equipment at Hotel Sonnenpark (e.g. Bobby Car race track, climbing wall, bouncy castle, etc.):

• The use of the play and sports equipment is at your own risk. Hotel Sonnenpark is liable exclusively to the legally mandatory and non-excludable extent.
• Hotel Sonnenpark is not liable for damage caused by a third party to a user of the play and sports equipment. Furthermore, there is no liability for damage to property or personal injury caused by third parties not using the play and sports equipment carefully.
• Any damage to play and sports equipment must be reported to Hotel Sonnenpark immediately.

Prices

Our prices include all taxes and duties except local tax (EUR 2.50 per night). The latter is being charged per person from 18 years of age.

Points pass

Bonus points can be redeemed all year round. Please note the validity period.

Non-smoking policy

We are a non-smoking hotel.

Animals

No animals are allowed in the hotel.
